Painted End Table

After we put in the new couch we had no room for this little end table and it was destined to go to the yard sale pile. Until I had a great idea! I could use it in my office! You see we moved our old couch into the office, so now I have a nice seating area when I want to laptop away. But it always felt like it needed something in the little sitting area...I could use that end table as a coffee table in there!! It's small, it could work! So I sanded it down and took the hardware off and spray painted the table white, the drawer pull pewter, and the inside  of the drawer blue!!

Bulletin Board Makeover

I bought a cork/magnetic white board several months back and it had just been sitting there in the kitchen on the floor, just waiting for me to find it a home on my wall. Well I found a frame that worked and painted it white and hot glued him in! The frame opening was slightly too small but I wasn't going to go out and buy a frame just for it, and I didn't really want to cut my white board. So instead I embraced the fact that there was just going to be a ledge and I use that space to put the dry-erase marker and the pencil! It works perfect in the slightly awkward wall space by the back door that leads into the laundry room! I added some white cup hooks under it and now all our keys are easily accessible! It came with some plain and kind of ugly magnets so I attached a flower to them and put a rhinestone in the center of each of them. So now they're pretty not pretty ugly!

Glue Gun Makeover!!

I've seen people give their glue guns a makeover before and ever since then my little glue gun has felt left out. So today I finally chose a color and went for it!. First I taped off all the parts I didn't want to be painted. Then I started spray painting it! I think it turned out pretty awesome!!

Brother-in-Laws Birthday Card!

First let me apologize for my super long absence, I've been busy in the land of tutu making and hair bow accessory making. But today I decided to take the day off from making stuff for my business, and clean house instead! And while waiting for laundry to get done I made my brother-in-law a birthday card for his upcoming 18th birthday!

First Ever Sewing Project!

I have sewed my first project ever! I came across this super cute curtain at the thrift store today and immediately thought of the two coffee drinking people I know, my mother-in-law and my best friend. So I decided to make an apron out of one of the panels for my best friend! (the valance that's in the same pattern, I gave to my mother-in-law). It was super easy! Perfect for my first project!
