Wire Wrapped Cabinet Pull

I am slowly remodeling the studio bathroom, on a budget of course. And the cabinet handle that was there was pretty ugly. Pained several times and the paint was chipping. So I set out to find the perfect cabinet pull that was fun and colorful. Being my picky self I couldn't settle on one that I liked both in looks and price so instead of going out and buying one I decided to make the existing one pretty. Now I could of easily just spray painted it and bam it would have been done in under 2 minutes. But I wanted something unique so I set out to wire wrap the handle in some pretty green beads! It was incredibly easy! I first sanded down the handle (more like my husband did it for me) and then I started wrapping! I thought it would go with the purple bathroom. Not to mention this project cost me nothing since I already had all the materials on hand. (the color is "grape juice" by Valspar)

From Dark to Light...

The last few weeks my kitchen has been upside down while I have been painting it. And let me tell you I am glad I'm done painting it!! It by no means is finished, but the most time consuming part is done at least. The before and after is amazing to me. I knew going from a dark color on the cabinets to white was going to be a huge change, but I never imagained the end result being SO much better. I love it!

 

Both of these pictures where taken at about the same time of day, can you tell how much brighter the kitchen is whith the cabinets painted white!? It's awesome!

 

The kitchen is no where near "finished" but for now i'm one happy girl :)

Glue Gun Makeover!!

I've seen people give their glue guns a makeover before and ever since then my little glue gun has felt left out. So today I finally chose a color and went for it!. First I taped off all the parts I didn't want to be painted. Then I started spray painting it! I think it turned out pretty awesome!!

Plant Stand Makeover!

I've been looking for a while something to display my tutus from, and then at a yardsale I found it! The perfect thing!! A plant stand!! All I had to do was just spray paint it and voila!! Perfecto!!

Easel Makeover!!!

After I got my sign done I wanted to find something I could display it on, and on one of my trips to the thrift store I found an easel!! It was perfect!! So I snagged that baby up and took it home and waited for the weather to cooperate with me!! So today when I woke up and saw the sun shining I got up and got to spray painting it!. I think it's perfect!

Frame Makeover!

I found this beautiful frame at the thrift store the other day and although I had no specific plan for it when I bought it, by the time I got home I had an idea...to make it into my sign for my booth at the saturday market! So I got to spray paintin' and cuttin' out the words with my pazzle and voila!! A beautiful sign!! Here it is before & after!!

Picture Frame Transformation!

Well as you know I'm hosting a Mary Kay party and so i've been on the look out for things that I can use to decorate for the party. Well I scored at Goodwill! I found two matching picture frames that were not over the top ornate. Some coats of bright pink spray paint and they are just what I wanted. For what? You'll find out!!
