Cozi

Hi my name is Karina, and I'm a bit of a control freak... I like things to have order and structure. I like to plan (I am usually packed and ready to go a week ahead when we are getting ready for a trip), and I like to make lists of everything. I am constantly trying to find ways of making planning easier as well as sharing those plans with my husband (sometimes having them posted on the fridge doesn't work). So while I was going through apps on my phone I came across this app called Cozi, and it's amazing! I don't know how I've lived without it! You sign up, and it's totally free! You can add as many family members to the account as you want and you can share your personal or family calendar with them, share to-do lists, grocery lists, your family journal, and even the diner schedule! And the best part is that you can send them all these things to their phone in a text reminder or through email, they could even call in and listen to the things scheduled to them. You can use the app on your phone to access Cozi or use your computer! You can easily color code each family members appointments and events on your calendar and then print your calender! The Crayon Roll

I bet you have seen them floating around the blogosphere, they are cool! What a neat idea, I mean really, each crayon has it's own little pocket to call home! They are perfect when you are traveling with a little one and you want to keep them busy. You just roll it up when you are done using them and ta da the crayons are put away in a super cute way! This is a pick of the one I made! I love it!! Sure, I have no kids, and I don't color that often, but I might just make time to color with crayons just so I can use it!! :D

Dora Fancy Bow

For my niece's 3rd birthday I made her a huge Dora the Explorer fancy bow, I think it turned out pretty good!

First Zumba Class!!

I have to say that my first Zumba class went awesome!! Everyone was smiling and seemed to have fun! I feel so good to finally have my first class under my belt! :D

I got myself balloons to decorate the doorway for my first class!! :)



Zumba ha Zumba he....

This is what my husband sings when I tell him i'm headed off to Zumba class, along with some pretty sweet moves. Well you guys at the end of January I got licenced to teach Zumba fitness and this past month i've been working on some ruitines and have been using my family as guinea pigs for feedback on my teaching skills. And i'm super excited to say that on Monday I will be teaching my first class by myself! the whole 60 minutes of it!! YAY!! So wish me luck!!! :D

DIY Ruffle Camera Strap!!

I don't know about you but I hated my camera strap to my new camera, plain 'ol boring black and ugly. So I did what any other person would do, google diy camera strap! And I came upon a billion tutorials on how to make different kinds. In the end I went with this tutorial. It was super easy to make and it only took under an hour! But the best part of it was that it was free!! Yup I had all the materials needed for this. And it came out super cute! I LOVE it!! My camera now has some personality!

The Catwalk....

Today I did something I thought I would never do. I actually never really seriously even thought about doing. But a couple days ago the opportunity came up and I decided to just give a shot! I never thought I'd be modeling anything, let alone swim wear! I was so nervous! But you know what, I did it! I am so proud of myself for throwing myself out there and doing something that I never thought I would do.

Happy New Year everyone!! The other day my husband and I went out for a drive and I just had to take a picture of this. Yes it's graffiti but it's so pretty and it says something that I love. LOVE :)
